Phlebotomy Technician Program

Program Overview:

• Duration: 8 weeks
• Total Hours:  96 hours
  • 56 hours of classroom instruction
  • 40 hours of externship, including a minimum of 10 documented venipunctures and 10 capillary sticks on live individuals

Certification Preparation:

Our curriculum is aligned with the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) standards, ensuring students are prepared to sit for the national certification exam. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certificate of completion from Inspire Health Medical Institute, and guidance on applying for the NHA certification exam. Certification eligibility requires documentation of 10 successful venipunctures and 10 capillary sticks on live individuals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Proof of Citizenship or Resident Status
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Complete a physical examination and provide proof of immunizations

Students must register and pay for the exam by contacting Credentia at www.credentia.com/test-takers/sc and follow the  instructions.

Tuition and associated fees must be paid in full by the last day of the program.

$25.00 non-refundable registration fee after 72 hour cancellation period
